Solvent selection

Common Plant oil extraction machine solvent include propane and butane, etc. These solvents have low boiling points and are easy to liquefy and vaporize.

Extraction pressure

Generally controlled within 0.3 - 0.8 MPa. The exact pressure should be adjusted according to the properties of the raw materials and the solvent.

Extraction temperature

Usually within the range of room temperature to 45°C. Low temperatures are beneficial for preserving the heat-sensitive components in the oil.

Particle size of raw materials

The particle size of raw materials has a significant impact on the extraction efficiency. Generally, a size range of 10 to 50 mesh is chosen.

Extraction time

Depending on the particle size and bulk density of the raw materials, the extraction time usually ranges from 30 to 120 minutes.
