Oil Separator Centrifuge

Centrifuge Bowl: The main component where the separation process occurs. It contains a rotating assembly that spins at high speeds to create centrifugal force.

Rotor: The part of the centrifuge bowl that spins and generates the centrifugal force necessary for separation.

Inlet and Outlet Ports: Allow the contaminated oil to enter the centrifuge and the separated components (clean oil, water, and solids) to exit.

Discharge System: Mechanism for removing the separated water, solids, and clean oil from the centrifuge. This can include nozzles, valves, or automatic discharge systems.

Drive System: Provides the power needed to spin the rotor. It can be powered by electric motors or other mechanical means.

Control System: Monitors and regulates the operation of the centrifuge, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

How It Works:

Feed Introduction: Contaminated oil is fed into the centrifuge bowl through the inlet port.

Centrifugal Force Generation: The rotor spins at high speeds, creating a strong centrifugal force that pushes the heavier components (such as water and solids) outward toward the periphery of the bowl.

Separation: Due to the difference in densities, the oil, water, and solids separate into distinct layers. The clean oil, being the lightest, collects near the center, while water and solids move to the outer edges.

Discharge: The separated components are removed through different outlet ports. The clean oil is typically collected for reuse, while water and solids are discharged as waste or for further processing.
