Working Principle

The working principle of the disc centrifuge is mainly to generate a strong centrifugal force through the high-speed rotation of its rotor. This centrifugal force can accelerate the sedimentation rate of particles in the liquid, thus achieving the separation of materials with different sedimentation coefficients and buoyancy densities in the sample.
Centrifugal separation technology is a technical process of separating, concentrating or refining substances with different sedimentation coefficients and different densities by means of centrifugal force generated by centrifuge rotation. Inside the disc centrifuge, there is a cylinder that spins at high speed around its own axis, called a rotating drum, usually driven by an electric motor. When the suspension (or emulsion) is added to the drum, it is rapidly driven to rotate at the same speed as the drum, and the components will be separated under the action of centrifugal force.
