Differential centrifugal method is a method of separation according to the different size of protein molecules, by setting different centrifugal forces, so that different sizes of proteins at different speeds of sedimentation, so as to achieve separation. Density gradient centrifugation is based on the principle that the sedimentation rate of the protein in the medium depends on its mass and density.
