Raw Material Pretreatment​​

 

The Almond Oil Extraction Machine machine receives pre-treated almonds with moisture content controlled at 1–3%. This step stabilizes product quality by minimizing microbial activity and oxidative degradation.

Grinding System​​

 

Equipped with a low-temperature high-speed grinder or liquid nitrogen ultrafine pulverizer, the machine prevents clumping caused by almond oil's high fat content. The ground powder is sieved (20–60 mesh) for uniform particle size.

​​Loading & Extraction Vessel​​

 

The sieved almond flour is evenly distributed into the extraction chamber. The system pressurizes liquefied CO₂ beyond its critical pressure (7.38 MPa) via a high-pressure pump, then heats it to the supercritical state (critical temperature: 31.1°C) using a jacketed heater.

​​Separation & Collection​​

 

The oil-CO₂ mixture passes through a pressure-reducing valve, where CO₂ reverts to gas and is recycled. The purified almond oil is collected in a chilled trap, yielding a ​​98.26% extraction rate​​.
