Product Description
Our Cinnamon Oil Extraction Machine uses a liquefied gas solvent-like butane or propane-at a pressure and temperature just below its "critical point." In this "subcritical" state, the solvent remains a liquid but behaves with gas-like properties, allowing it to seep deep into the cinnamon material. It selectively dissolves the precious volatile oils, waxes, and resins. After the material is fully soaked, the pressure is gently reduced. The solvent simply evaporates off, leaving behind a whole, complete extract that captures cinnamon's deep, spicy notes without the high, sharp notes being burned away.
