Lab Glass Reactor

Lab glass reactor is a kind of equipment commonly used in the laboratory, mainly used to carry out a variety of chemical reactions, synthesis, stirring, dissolving and other experimental operations.

Lab glass reactor is mainly composed of the following parts:

• Kettle body: usually made of high borosilicate glass or quartz glass, with good transparency, corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance.
• Stirring system: including stirring paddle, stirring motor and stirring shaft, which is used for stirring during the reaction process so that the reactants can be fully mixed.

• Easy to clean: the glass surface is smooth, not easy to adhere to the dirt, easy to clean.
• Flexibility: Stirring speed, heating temperature and other parameters can be adjusted according to the experimental needs.

• Safe operation: the integrity of the reactor should be checked before use to ensure that there is no breakage, leakage and so on. During operation, personal protective equipment such as protective glasses and gloves should be worn.
• Temperature control: The temperature should be increased slowly when heating, avoiding rapid temperature rise leading to glass rupture. At the same time, the reaction temperature should be strictly controlled to prevent the high temperature from causing side reactions or danger.
• Stirring speed: Stirring speed should be moderate, too fast may lead to reactants splashing or glass rupture, too slow may affect the reaction effect.
• Cleaning and maintenance: The reactor should be cleaned in time after use to remove residues and keep it clean and dry. At the same time, the integrity of the stirring system, sealing device and other parts should be checked regularly, and damaged parts should be replaced in time.
