The working principle of the spray dryer is to disperse the raw liquid into tiny droplets through the atomizer, then contact with the hot air flow, use the hot air flow to take away the water in the droplets, and finally get the dried product. In a spray dryer, the air is purified through a filter to remove dust and impurities. Then, the air is heated to the specified temperature by the heater, and the heated air enters the air distributor on the top of the spray dryer. The air distributor sends hot air into the drying tower in a spiral shape, forming a rotating hot air flow.

The peristaltic pump delivers solvent materials to the top of the spray dryer, and disperses the materials into tiny droplets through the atomizer. The atomizer sprays small water droplets into the interior of the drying tower through a specific nozzle, forming a mist. After entering the drying tower, these misty materials come into contact with hot air. Hot air quickly evaporates the moisture of the mist like material, allowing the dried material to form. These dried materials will follow the hot air into the cyclone separator. In a cyclone separator, materials are separated from air. Through the action of a cyclone, materials are collected at the bottom of the cyclone separator, while hot air is discharged by the exhaust duct.
For materials that are too small or light, a bag dust removal device can be added after the cyclone separator to further filter and collect these materials. The bag dust removal device can effectively filter and collect materials that have not been completely separated by the cyclone separator, improving separation efficiency and product yield.

The above is the basic working principle of spray dryer. The specific design and operation process of spray dryer may be different according to the specific model and use conditions. But overall, the core principle is to convert the raw material liquid into a dry product, and achieve material separation and collection through processes such as hot gas flow and cyclone separation. The above is the basic working principle of spray dryer.
