Natural vitamin E is extracted from vegetable oils such as soybean oil and sunflower oil. Compared with synthetic vitamin E, it has higher biological activity. This higher activity is attributed to its more natural structure, which makes it easier for the human body to absorb and utilize. In addition, natural vitamin E has a lower risk of adverse reactions and is thus considered safer, making it the preferred choice for dietary supplements and health promotion products.

.Molecular distillation is a specialized technique used for the separation and purification of natural vitamin E because it is highly efficient and poses the least risk of introducing impurities. This method operates under extremely low vacuum pressure, typically below 0.01 torr (1.3 pascals), and falls within the category of high vacuum distillation. Under these pressures, the average free path of the molecules is comparable to the size of the distillation equipment, thus enabling the process to transition to a state of free molecular flow.

.In the molecular distillation process, the pressure exerted by the gas on the substance to be evaporated can be ignored, which means that the evaporation rate no longer depends on the external pressure. This property is crucial for heat-sensitive substances such as natural vitamin E, as it can shorten the heating time and lower the temperature, thereby maintaining the integrity and biological activity of the vitamin. This process typically involves a short path between the hot and cold surfaces. Usually, a hot plate coated with feed material is placed next to the cold plate to ensure the direct visual movement of molecules.

.This method is not only simple but also highly effective in concentrating natural products, including complex heat-sensitive molecules such as vitamins and polyunsaturated fatty acids. The distillation liquid is exposed to high temperatures for a very short time. Coupled with a high vacuum environment (about 10-4 mmHg) and the minimum distance between the evaporator and the condenser (usually about 2 centimeters), it can ensure that the final product maintains purity and efficacy.

.Molecular distillation is widely used in the purification of oils in the industrial field, further highlighting its multi-functionality and effectiveness in treating various substances. Its unique operating parameters make it an indispensable tool in the field of natural vitamin E extraction and purification, achieving a balance between accuracy and efficiency that is difficult for other methods to match.
