The principle of Agitated Nutsche Filter Dryer is elegant and robust. One single, jacketed vessel with a sintered filter bottom performs the entire work sequence:
Filtration: The reaction slurry is fed in. Mother liquor is drawn through the filter, leaving a solid cake.
Washing: The integrated agitator gently mixes the cake while wash solvents are introduced, ensuring uniform purity and efficient solvent use.
Smoothing: The agitator gently re-levels the cake to ensure optimal heat transfer for the final step.
Drying: Heated jackets (and optionally, an agitator with internal heating) gently dry the uniform cake under vacuum, yielding a dry, free-flowing powder ready for discharge.
