How to extend the service life of mini rotary evaporator?

Preparation before use: Before using the mini rotary evaporator, the parts of the instrument should be carefully checked to see if they are intact and undamaged, especially whether the glass bottle is broken and whether the interfaces are matched. At the same time, pay attention to hold and put gently to avoid damage to the instrument.

Cleaning and maintenance: After each use, the surface of the machine should be wiped with a soft cloth to remove all kinds of oil, stains and solvent residues, to keep the instrument clean. For each interface, it should be wiped with a soft cloth and a little vacuum grease should be applied to protect the interface, but make sure the vacuum grease is covered after use to prevent dust from entering. In addition, the interfaces should not be screwed too tightly, and need to be loosened and activated periodically to avoid long-term tight locking leading to connector bite.

Protection of the electrical part: the electrical part must not enter water, and moisture is strictly prohibited. This is because moisture may lead to short circuit or other electrical failure, affecting the normal operation of the instrument.

Regular maintenance: the rotary evaporator needs to be maintained and serviced on a regular basis, including cleaning the condenser, changing the vacuum pump oil, checking the wear of the rotating shaft and cleaning the receiving bottle. These maintenance measures help to extend the service life of the instrument and keep it in good working condition.

Operation precautions: During operation, the operating conditions of the dosing pump, vacuum pump and circulating pump should be observed to ensure that they work properly. At the same time, keep the environment around the rotary evaporator clean and free of debris, the external thermal insulation of the equipment should be intact, if damaged, it should be maintained in a timely manner.

Safe operation: when operating the rotary evaporator, it is also necessary to follow the safe operation guidelines and regularly check whether the various components of the instrument are working properly, especially whether the seals, bearings and other wear parts need to be replaced.
