Product Description
We engineer our algae oil separation machine for the toughest liquid-liquid and liquid-solid separations – particularly where particle size is small and density differences are minimal. These machines achieve the highest G-forces in our lineup, making them ideal for concentrating microalgae, extracting intracellular oils, and clarifying sensitive bioproducts.
The algae oil separation machine consists of a slender cylinder that rotates at an extremely high speed, creating a very powerful centrifugal force field. The material enters from the bottom, and the heavier solid substances (such as cell fragments) are thrown towards the outer wall of the cylinder, while the lighter liquids (oil and water phases) form concentric layers and are discharged through separate outlets. The rate of solid discharge can be precisely controlled, enabling continuous operation.
