Fermentation Tank Temperature Control method
Cooling/Heating Jackets: Fermentation tanks often have built-in jackets or coils through which cooling or heating fluids can circulate to regulate the temperature.
Temperature Sensors: Sensors, such as thermocouples or resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), are installed in the tank to continuously monitor the temperature of the fermenting mixture.
Control System: An automated control system, typically including a programmable logic controller (PLC) or a microcontroller, receives input from the temperature sensors and adjusts the heating or cooling mechanisms accordingly.
Fermentation Tank Temperature Control details

Heat Exchangers: External heat exchangers can be used to adjust the temperature of the cooling or heating fluids before they circulate through the jackets or coils.
Insulation: Proper insulation of the fermentation tank helps maintain the desired temperature by minimizing heat exchange with the external environment.

Monitoring: Temperature sensors continuously measure the temperature of the fermenting mixture.
Control System: The control system compares the measured temperature with the setpoint (the desired temperature). If the temperature deviates from the setpoint, the system activates the appropriate heating or cooling mechanism.
Heating: If the temperature is too low, the control system may activate a heating element or circulate a heated fluid through the tank's jackets or coils to raise the temperature.
